Aspiring Football Analyst

I'm a football analyst in the making, based in Zambia with a deep passion for the tactical side of the game. My journey started with a simple question: why do some teams win even when they have less of the ball? That question led me down a path of studying formations, pressing schemes, transition play, and the hundreds of micro-decisions that decide football matches.

Through this blog, I share my analysis with a community of fans who want to understand the game beyond the scoreline. Whether it's a tactical breakdown of a Champions League tie or a player profile of the next wonderkid, I write for people who love the sport and want to see it more clearly.

How I Work

My approach to analysis

Tactical First

Every match tells a story through its tactical patterns. I focus on formations, pressing schemes, and the structural decisions that shape results.

Eye for Detail

The difference between a good and great team is often in the margins. I look at the small details that highlight reels miss.

Data Informed

Numbers support what the eye sees. I blend visual analysis with statistical context to build a complete picture of performance.

The Journey

How I got here

The Beginning

It started with watching matches on weekends and wondering why certain teams consistently outperformed their talent level. I began reading tactical blogs, watching analysis videos, and replaying matches frame by frame.

Building Knowledge

I immersed myself in the works of Jonathan Wilson, Michael Cox, and other tactical writers. I started taking coaching badges and began writing my own breakdowns for friends and social media.

This Blog

This site is my platform to share analysis with a wider audience. Every article is an opportunity to sharpen my craft and contribute to the football analysis community. My goal is to one day work at a professional club or broadcaster, turning this passion into a career.
